Pimpin’ What’s Next…

We’ve got some fresh baseball information on the way! In the next couple days, we’ll have an interview with Negro League expert Gary Ashwill, a former member of the Negro League Authors and Researchers Group (NLRAG), and author of an upcoming book from McFarland.  Plus, I hope to tickle your fancy with some House of David information- mined from the metal file cabinets in my closet!  Other non-baseball stuff on the way too… so as to not scare away the baseball-haters.

Update, 1:04pm, Central Time: KJOK has a nice piece on the 1927 Negro League World Series posted at www.seamheads.com.  In a related matter, KJOK will be featured in an upcoming interview here at the blog, where I promise to uncover the man behind the initials…

Fresh pancakes this week…

I’ve got two posts on tap this week, one baseball, one non-baseball.  That’s probably going to be the format here for awhile, so help me god-buddha-allah-non-denomenational-life-force-thing-a-ma-bob.  First off- some home-road data for one James “Cool Papa” Bell, a Hall of Fame outfielder from the old Negro Leagues, and then another story about ghosts.  Well, sort of.  This will be about a haunting of a different sort, as I explain how a story I wrote years ago continues to plague me to this very day, courtesy of the super-magnetic-inter-highway.
